3x5 Minnesota State Flag For Sale
The Minnesota state flag is a blue field embezzled with the Minnesota state seal. Around the seal is a wreath of lady slippers, the state flower. Three dates are displayed on the flag; 1858, the year Minnesota joined the union as a state; 1819, the year Fort Snelling was established; and 1893, the year the flag was officially adopted. 19 stars surround the wreath with a larger star at the top representing Minnesota being the 19th state. A banner within the seal reads "L'Etoile du Nord," which translates to "The Star of The North," which is the Minnesota state motto.
