A "silver" 5 pointed star with the word "Nevada" underneath it sits between two sprays of green sagebrush, forming a half circle. 3x5 Missouri State Flag For Sale The Missouri state flag has 3 stripes; one of red' one of white' and the other of blue. The red stripe is at the top, white in the middle, and blue at the bottom. The color in these stripes all have their own meaning. The red represents valor, the white stands for purity, while the blue represents the permanency, vigilance, and justice of the state.  In the center of the strips sits the Missouri state seal surrounded by 24 white stars.The seal contains a shield with the Great Seal of the United States on the right side while the left has images representing the state of Missouri, a bear and a crescent moon. Bears stand on both sides of the shield, signifying strength and bravery. The crescent moon indicates the newness of the state and its potential for growth. Around the shield are the words "United we stand, divided we fall." The shield also has a belt buckle on the bottom as a reminder the state can secede from the Union if necessary. A banner scrolls from the 2 bears feet which reads "Salus Populi Suprema Lex Esto", which translates to "Let the welfare of the people be the supreme law." 3x5 Michigan State Flag For Sale The state of Michigan has a dark blue flag with Michigan State's coat of arms. The coat of arms has a light blue shield with the sun rising over peninsula and lake with a man holding one arm up representing peace but in his other hand a long gun which represents the fight for the state and nation. The word "Tuebor" is inscribed on the shield which means "I will defend." Two of Michigans great animals, a moose, and elk, support the shield. Over the top of the shield, a bald eagle stands atop. This eagle represents the United States. Above the eagle, a red banner reads "E Pluribus Unum," the motto of the United States of America, which means "Out of many, one." Joining the elk and the moose is a white ribbon which reads "Si Quæris Peninsulam Amœnam Circumspice," which is the official state motto which interprets to "If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you." The current Michigan flag was adopted in 1911 and is the third state flag. The first flag featured Michigan's first governor, Stevens T. Mason, on one side and the state coat of arms and "a soldier and a lady" on the other. The first flag is completely lost, and no images of it exist that have been found. The states general assembly added the word Indiana in a crescent shape on the flag, which was the only change to the winning design. The flag sits on a field of blue with a golden torch representing liberty and enlightenment with the torches rays representing the far influence the state has. Around the torch are 19 golden stars that indicate Indiana's place in the Union as the 19th state to join. The 19 stars are broken into 13 stars in an outer loop with 6 in its inner loop, one being directly over the torch. The Utah flag consists of the Utah State Seal on a field of navy blue encircled by a golden circle.  In the center of the seal, a white shield with the state symbol of a beehive sits with sego lily on either side, representing peace. The shield is pierced by 6 arrows crosswise. The word "Industry" is written in blue which is meant to mean steady effort. The United States National Flag flows behind the shield showing support of the nation. On top of the shield, an American Eagle sits with his wings reached out showing protection whether during peace or war. 2 dates are displayed on the flag, 1847 and 1896. 1847 to represent the year the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was reestablished by Brigham Young in the state of Utah and 1896 representing the year Utah joined the Union of the United States. The flag is commonly referred to as "the Lone Star Flag", which is also similar to the Texas State nickname of "The Lone Star State". The Texas flag may very well be the flag treated with the highest degree of reverence and esteem by the state's population.  The flag consists of a deep blue vertical stripe 1/3rd the length of the flag with a pure white single five-pointed star in the center of the blue stripe with one point facing upward towards the heavens. Equal sized verticle stripes of white and red situated next to the blue stripe. The white stripe on the top of the flag and the red stripe on the bottom of the flag.  The flag still flown today was first officially adopted on January 25, 1839, as the national flag of the Republic of Texas.  The national flag became the Texas State flag on December 29, 1845, when Texas became a state. Due to government clerical errors, there was no official flag for Texas from 1879-1933; however, the flag remained the state flag even with the states legislatures massive mistake when adopting the Revised Civil Statues of 1879. This happened due to the wording of the statues repealing all statues not expressly continued in force, and as the flag was not mentioned it the state was technically flagless until they passed the flag law in 1933 correcting their error. The Texas State Legislature also famously made other clerical mistakes in 1933 while adopting the state's pledge which officially became "Honor the Texas Flag of 1836; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one and indivisible." Due to this wording, the pledge wasn't even for the "Lone Star Flag", rather it was a pledge to the 1836 Texas national flag, known as David G. Burnet's flag (shown below.) It took the legislature 32 years to correct this issue when in 1965 the pledge officially became "Honor the Texas Flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one and indivisible."  Additionally on June 15, 2007 the flag pledge was amended again and is now officially “ Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.”

In the center of the flag are 3 white circles on a blue circle surrounded by a white outline. These 3 stars represent the Grand Divisions of the state, East Tennessee, Middle Tennesse, and West Tennessee with the blue circle showing the unity of the 3 Grand Divisions and the white band showing the 3 are bound together as an indissoluble trinity.  A Johnson City attorney serving in the Tennessee National Gaurd, Colonel LeRoy Reeves, designed the flag which was adopted officially on April 17, 1905.  The Tennesse state flag has been the feature of mistakes by both National Geographic and the United States Postal Service.  The USPS had sheet stamps representing each state in 1976. They printed all of the Tennesse Flag stamps upside down as the ignored how the stars are legally required to be displayed.  In October of 1917, National Geographic reported that the 3 stars on the flag represent Tennesse as being the 3'rd state to join the union after the original 13 colonies. While true that Tennessee was the 16'th state to join the union, this alleged representation of the meaning of the stars was just made up and are completely false. We know this by simply reading what the flags creator, Colonel LeRoy Reeves, wrote on what the symbols of the flag represented.
